Welcome! I am a Professor of the Mathematical Sciences at KAIST in South Korea. My research is in Probability Theory and Statistical Mechanics.

I will be moving to Sam Houston State University starting Fall 2022.

My current research interests include:

(1) Neural Networks/Bayesian statistics

(2) Coulomb gases

(3) Heavy-tailed random matrices



Teaching


I am teaching Intro to Linear Algebra (MAS109) and undergraduate Intro to Probability Theory (MAS350) in Spring 2022.

Students and Postdocs


Right now, I am advising four PhD students and mentoring two postdocs.
